Originally submitted 2 years ago this is my idea better realized.
There are a few minor issues but I was aiming for atmosphere and design.

Escadia street ways concept:
It is the focal point of commerce. Having been built and rebuilt over the centuries the city's foundation hold many secrets, labyrinths, and stories. Located in the lower districts are the markets and merchant waterways. Moving up to residential areas and even higher is business sectors and high rise plazas, followed by vistas right on the outskirts at the shore. Many different races can be found here hoping to build a more secure life.

Really fine and lively details....you got the lighting just right, and though it is set in a fantasy world, I can still relate to it for it has some wordly elements... may I ask what painting program did you use...thanks...(^_^)..it deserves the DD...

thanks thanks for the info...I use SAI...I bet you have many brush settings to produce the wonderful piece....I think I'll take some time to study how lighting work...I'm into studying BG's and looking at your works is a great reference for improvement...

i have never used sai before, i just know of people using it for line work though. Dont worry to much about brush settings, keep things simple. with a little time and patients you can get away with standard hard round or airbrushes. But if you ever do acquire photoshop feel free to download the brushes from my site.
