Notes on creating Frank:
-Needed a burly fellow to be Mullins backup.
-Needed a Humorous character for portfolio.
-My friend in and I were watching the Good the, the Bad, and the Ugly staring Clint Eastwood. There was this filthy cowboy carrying around a drum stick for like 5 minutes during a gunfight and we thought that was funniest thing. I just had to base a character off this.
-I used comedian/actor Danny McBride as a base for his appearance. Thought he was perfect.

As usual, your attention to detail is astounding; even for a single character design.
I also love the use of textures in this particular piece, it almost gives it a kind of a storybook feel to it.
And I totally see Danny McBride in this drawing even before reading the comment... Hilarious!
